Toddler Tuesday
Toddler Tuesday program is a happening event!
Toddler Tuesday is a community program for 1-4 year old children and their caregivers. We focus our learning on one of our animals, or a relevant nature theme each week. Pre-registration is no longer necessary. You can just show up and sign in. Pre-school programs must book a private program.
The program meets outside under our picnic pavilion and will include singing, finger play, a story, and a possible encounter with one of our furry, feathered or scaly residents. You pay for the program and your family members at the program site, and not at the ticket booth. When you drive in, tell the ticket booth attendant that you are here for Toddler Tuesday and they will direct you to park and pay directly at the program site.
In the event of inclement weather we may cancel. Please check the website or call the center if you are uncertain (912-395-1500). If the weather is slightly cold we will bring heaters to the picnic pavilion. Occasionally the program ventures to an exhibit, so dress appropriately and bring your stroller and walking shoes.
Sessions are offered twice on Tuesdays from 10:00am - 10:30am & repeats from 11:00am - 11:30am.
If you don't see a new theme, don't worry, the program runs all year except one week during 4th of July and over the winter holidays and for unforeseen circumstances.
